Yellow Fever
International vaccination certificates against yellow fever are required for all persons entering Brazil who have, within six days prior to their arrival, transited through one of the following countries: Angola, Benin, Bolivia, Burkina-Faso, Cameroon, Colombia, Cote d’Ivoire, Ecuador, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guyana, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Equatorial Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Peru, Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, Sierra Leone, Sudan, and Venezuela.
 
However, it is recommended that all visitors receive a yellow fever vaccine at least 10 days prior to their arrival in Brazil.

 

Hepatitis A
The Hepatitis A vaccine is also recommended for all visitors traveling to the Amazon Region.
