BAHIA

Since the early times, its history is confused with the one of Brazil, therefore it was in Porto Seguro, Bahia, that first arrived the fleet of Pedro Alvarez Cabral, in 1500. Its capital, Salvador, is a pretty city and the Bahians makes the visit full of allure and joy. In the republican phase, the Bahia became famous for the War of Canudos that, in turn, propitiated the masterpiece of Brazilian literature, Os Sertões, of Euclides da Cunha. The beach cities, with immense groves of coconut palms , from Ilhéus, Santa Cruz de Cabrália, Porto Seguro and Prado, beyond the Islands of Itaparica, Maré and Frades, fascinate the visitors. CEARÁ

No other Brazilian State offers a so great diversity of landscapes like Ceará. Historical beaches, hinterlands, mountain ranges and cities mix up to form one of the most beautiful landscapes of the country. But the scene is not the only enchant. The hospitality of the people, the special kitchen, the rich and original culture make of Ceará an irresistible destination. Who knows it always return. The surprises start in the coastal edge, one of the greaters of the Country, with 573 kilometers of extension. PANTANAL

The Pantanal of Mato Grosso, with an extension of 250 a thousand km², is the biggest flooding area of the world. It is an immense intercontinental basin, delimited for Brazilian Plateaus, the east, for the Chapadas Mato-grossenses, the north, and for a chain of mountains and high lands of Andean base at the west. Therefore, it can be considered a great delta , where if they accumulate waters of the high Paraguay River and of great number of rivers that go down of Plateaus.
