Reception Offered for Forum Participants at the Blue Tree, on Tuesday, at 8:30 p.m.

At 8:30 p.m., on Tuesday, June 7, immediately following the opening ceremony of the IV Global Forum on Fighting Corruption, event participants are invited to a cocktail in their honor. The gathering will take place by the swimming pool of the Blue Tree Alvorada Complex to the sounds of popular Brazilian music.

To liven the festivities, guests will be treated to musical programs by Tereza Cristina and Samba Choro performing compositions by established artists in the world of popular Brazilian music, including Cartola, Pixinguinha and Paulinho da Viola. Considered the “new Clara Nunes” of Brazilian music, Tereza Cristina exploded onto the scene last year with her acclaimed debut album A música de Paulinho da Viola. She will be backed by the evening's opening act, Samba Choro, one of the country's most popular traditional roots samba and choro groups.
