“Corruption Threatens Democracy”

 
Corruption “threatens democracy, economic growth and the rule of law.” The statement is a central element of the final declaration emerging from the IV Global Forum on Fighting Corruption unveiled on Friday. The event gathered, in five days, en Brasília, representatives from international organisms, NGOs and governments from 103 countries to discuss ways on fighting corruption in the world.
